Long boxes, dozens and dozens of them, and equally as many short boxes, all stuffed to the gills with a lifetime's worth of his weekly addiction. It wasn't the lifting and moving of furniture, appliances, and untold boxes labeled "Misc." that I wanted to avoid, it was his comic book collection. I used to dread when a certain friend of mine would call up to ask for help moving into a new place.
